At The Growing Tree, we understand that every baby is unique. That’s why each infant follows their own personalized feeding and nap schedule, provided by parents and carefully followed by our teachers. All babies nap in full-sized cribs for comfort and safety.
Throughout the day, our infants are nurtured with enriching activities that support growth, curiosity, and connection—never screen time. Instead, your baby will always be engaged, stimulated, and cared for in a loving environment.

Helps babies develop strong upper and lower body muscles for crawling, sitting, and walking. Motion games and infant gym play are built in throughout the day.
Group play, gentle teacher interactions, and plenty of one-on-one attention help babies build trust, security, and social confidence.
Babies enjoy daily music and movement, along with a special weekly music class featuring various instruments that introduce rhythm, sound, and language in exciting, interactive ways.
Books, rhymes, and fingerplays are part of our daily routine, fostering early language, listening skills, and communication.
Fresh air is part of every day, including stroller rides, bubble play, and nature walks. Babies experience the elements and beauty of the Roslyn Duck Pond, encouraging sensory and environmental awareness.
Teachers introduce simple signs such as “more” and “all done” to help babies communicate before they can verbalize.
Daily activities like bubbles, textured toys, and hands-on games engage all five senses, along with body awareness and balance.
Carpet play, toys, and guided activities strengthen hand coordination and larger motor skills.
Babies explore toys and games that build problem-solving, curiosity, and early cognitive skills.
Babies explore sensory art with their hands or feet, creating adorable keepsakes for parents and grandparents. Art activities can be mess-free, like using paint in a bag, or allow babies to get a little messy with finger painting and exploring textures—always designed for safe, fun, and engaging sensory experience
Babies follow their individualized feeding schedules, and when they begin eating solid foods, mealtime becomes a fun and social experience. They enjoy eating while overlooking the beautiful Roslyn Duck Pond with their friends, encouraging healthy eating habits. From spoon-feeding to finger foods, our teachers provide guidance and support every step of the way.
We also proudly support breastfeeding families. Our infant classroom has a freezer for storing breast milk, and teachers follow careful procedures for defrosting and feeding. Parents are always welcome to use the rocking chair in the classroom to nurse during drop-off, pick-up, or anytime they’d like to be with their baby.
Cleaning is our top priority in the Infant Program. Any toy that touches a baby’s mouth is immediately sanitized, and changing tables are lined with paper and then cleaned with a special solution after every use. All bottles, food, and personal items are clearly labeled with each child’s first and last name and stored in individual baskets in our refrigerator. We also maintain separate sinks for food preparation and washing, ensuring the highest level of safety and hygiene every day
